Was recognized by GreenPAC, a leading national environmental organization. GreenPAC has now endorsed a total of just 26 candidates drawn from the four major parties across Canada. Jonathan is the only North Vancouver candidate, and one of only two candidates in the Lower Mainland, to receive this endorsement. You can find more information here.

In case you missed it, this week the Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau talked to how Liberals are moving forward with a plan to help Canadian families, including:

Up to $1000 more in the Canada Child Benefit for children under the age of one
Guaranteed paid family leave for every parent for a child’s first year
New spaces and 10% lower fees for before and after school care
Tax-free maternity and parental benefits
New 15-week leave for parents who adopt
Before and after school care spaces with extended hours
